If you’re like most people, you probably use Photoshop to edit photos and graphics. But what if you want to use Photoshop to create content? In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to use content aware fill in Photoshop CS5 to create custom content for your web pages and presentations. First, let’s take a look at the example image we’ll be using throughout the tutorial. This image is of a flower pot filled with flowers. We’ll be using this image as our starting point because it’s simple and easy to work with.

  1. Open the flower pot image in Photoshop.
  2. Select all of the flowers in the image by pressing Ctrl+A (PC: Cmd+A). Then, press Ctrl+D (PC: Cmd+D) to deselect them all.
  3. Next, we’ll need to create a new layer above the flowers layer called “Background.” We can do this by clicking on the “New Layer” icon at the bottom of the Layers palette and selecting “Background.”
  4. Next, we’ll need to fill in some of the background with some color. To do this, click on the “Fill” icon at the bottom of the Layers palette and select “Color Fill.” From here, you can select any color that you want for your background fill.
