If you’re like most people, you probably don’t like using your PlayStation 4 controller. Maybe you’re lazy or just don’t have the time to learn how to use it. Well, there are plenty of ways to use your PS4 without a controller, and we’re here to show you how. Here are five ways to use your PS4 without a controller:

  1. Use the touchpad on the front of the console: This is probably the easiest way to use your PS4 without a controller. Just point and click with your finger!
  2. Use voice commands: If you know how to use voice commands on your phone or other device, you can easily use them on your PS4 too. Just say “PlayStation” or “Pause Game” and voila! You’re done!
  3. Use the DualShock 4’s touchpad: If you have a DualShock 4, you can also use its touchpad instead of a controller. This is great if you want to play games that require precise control, like racing games or action games. Just point and click with two fingers!
  4. Use gestures: If using a controller feels too cumbersome or time-consuming for what you want to do, try using gestures instead! On some games (like Uncharted 4), simply pointing and clicking will do nothing; in these cases, gestures such as shaking the controller will activate certain actions in the game (like shooting). So if gesture controls aren’t available on the game you want to play, try using one of our other methods first!
  5. Connect an external device: If none of our other methods work for whatever reason (maybe there’s no gesture support available), connect an external device such as a keyboard or mouse and use that instead! ..
