According to a recent study by the market research firm Newzoo, the percentage of Xbox players who identify as gay is significantly higher than that of any other console. The study found that 6.5% of Xbox players are gay, compared to just 1.8% of PlayStation 4 players and 0.9% of Nintendo Switch players. The high percentage of gay Xbox players may be due in part to the fact that Microsoft has been more supportive of LGBT rights than its competitors. In 2017, Microsoft became the first major gaming company to allow transgender people to use the bathroom corresponding with their gender identity, and it has since donated millions of dollars to LGBT organizations. While this study provides some interesting insights into the gaming habits of LGBT people, it’s important to note that it’s an observational study and doesn’t necessarily reflect the experiences or opinions of all Xbox players. ..
