Photoshop users have long been asking for a Magic Wand Tool that behaves more like the one in Illustrator. Adobe has finally listened, and released a new version of Photoshop with the Magic Wand Tool built in. The Magic Wand Tool is a powerful tool that can be used to select areas of an image by clicking and dragging. It’s similar to the Pencil Tool, but with more options. For example, you can use the Magic Wand to select all pixels in an area, or to select specific colors. Adobe says that the Magic Wand Tool was one of the most requested features in recent years, so they’re glad that it’s now available in Photoshop.
